Unified Theory of Hilarity

Until someone discovers a unified theory of hilarity, it looks as if humor and comedy, like all other concepts, requires great reflection and experimentation if we are to discover not just what makes us laugh, but more importantly, the value that can be extracted from doing so.

Rather than provide a written assessment of my own exploration of humor, I prefer to use this moment to applaud all those funny people out there who are a constant source of material for me to explore.

The smiles, giggles, and laughter you elicit from "putting yourself out there" is a constant source of entertainment for millions of people around the world.

From comedians to cartoon artists to hospital volunteers and those ever-so-friendly cheerful people that lift our spirits the moment they walk through the door... thank you for sharing your enthusiasm and good humor.
